English Conversation - Green Oranges

Ok, hi, this is English Teacher Fred.

I stopped here on the street to buy some oranges. I thought I'd show you something interesting.

You know, in America, in the West, oranges are (there goes a bus) oranges are the color orange. But here in Vietnam, oranges are green! They're green on the outside, and orange on the inside. So, it's strange. That's the Vietnamese orange. They're green, they're not orange.

Stop by my website and see some more vocabulary lessons, pronunciation lessons. Learn how to speak English like an American. I'm an American. I teach English in Vietnam. I've been living here since 2001, and now I'm teaching online.

So come by and sign up for a free 15-minute conversation lesson. And after that you can sign up for more lessons.

These days I have a special offer: you can buy a package of 10 lessons and get 2 for free. We can talk about fruit, talk about business English, pronunciation, work on your English pronunciation- anything you want to talk about.

Do you like fruit? Do you like oranges? What color are the oranges in your country? Are they green? Are they orange? Are they purple? Are they red?

Okay, that's all for now. Come by my website.

Hope to see you soon. Thanks, bye-bye.
